Overview

Dental One Associates is hiring a Dental Hygienist for our multi-specialty family dental center, located in Baltimore, MD 21210, in the Village of Cross Keys.  This is a full-time position working Mon, Tue, Thur (8-5), Wed (9-6) & Fri (7-3).

Dental One Associates is a well-established, successful practice, where we truly value our hygienists and the important role they play in our success.  We work closely as a team in our state-of-the-art facility, utilizing the latest technologies such as Overjet, CBCT scanner, hygiene lasers, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), to ensure our patients get superior care, while also ensuring our hygienists have what they need to do quality work they will be proud of. 

 

Our office is in a great area with lots of redevelopment going on, so this is the area to be in!  The suite we're located in has been newly renovated and is attached to great new retail stores and awesome restaurants (and more coming soon), which is great for lunch breaks.  We also have plenty of free parking! 

Previous experience is always a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well.  The hygienist we hire must have an active Hygiene license in the state of Maryland.  New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon. 

Responsibilities

  • Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times 
  • Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
  • Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 
  • Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 
  • Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Active Hygiene license for the state you applied, required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
