Dental Care Alliance’s mission is to advance the practice of dentistry by partnering with and supporting dental professionals to create a lifetime of healthy smiles. Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, DCA currently supports over 400 allied practices and supports over 900 dentists across 24 states. DCA’s allied practices represent all dental specialties and treat patients under more than 160 brand names.

 

Dental Care Alliance is currently seeking a qualified Skillbridge Fellow to join a job training program as a Recruiter in a qualified DOD Skillbridge Fellowship. This is a 60-180 day on the job training program, with the intention of potential future placement at Dental Care Alliance. All viable candidates must meet the required criteria for terminal leave to enter Skillbridge Fellowship via Hiring our Heroes or approved by command, and must be eligible for a honorable discharge from the military and able to enter a civilian career following the successful completion of this Project Manager DOD Skillbridge Fellowship.

 

This is a mainly remote/home based position, which may require occasional travel to support hiring events or company meetings.  

 

This role will be responsible for acquiring the skills required within the Skillbridge Fellowship to effectively develop/lead full cycle recruitment in various areas in one or more areas of talent acquisition including; staff recruitment, provider recruitment, corporate recruitment, candidate sourcing, and new graduate/scholastic recruitment.

Responsibilities

This fellowship’s training program will consist of:

  • Fundamentals of Recruitment
  • Development of technical skills to access appropriate applicant tracking, compensation, and CRM tools.  Learn fundamentals of communications software used for recruitment of professionals.
  • Strategic Talent Sourcing:
  • Learn the fundamentals to employ advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage top-notch candidates within the dental industry. Utilize various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks, to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • End-to-End Recruitment:
  • Develop skills to manage the entire recruitment life cycle, from requisition to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.  Conduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks to ensure the selection of high-quality candidates.
  • Relationship Building:
  • Learn to collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their unique staffing needs and challenges. Cultivate strong relationships with candidates, providing an exceptional candidate experience from the initial contact through the onboarding process.
  • Employer Branding:
  • Actively participate in building and promoting the Dental Care Alliance employer brand. Develop and execute innovative strategies to attract passive candidates and position Dental Care Alliance as an employer of choice.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making:
  • Leverage analytics and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies. Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Meets criteria to enter Skillbridge Fellowship via Hiring our Heroes or approved by command
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or applicable military training that meets the threshold of a 4 year degree
  • Advanced technical skills, and MS Office fluent.
  • Relationship and stakeholder management experience within a remote/office setting.
  • Experiences with leadership with Sr Leaders, Business Owners and Individual contributors.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Healthcare experience a plus, but not required.
    • Senior Enlisted, Warrant Officer, or Officer Preferred
    • Masters degree Preferred
    • At least 12 weeks remaining of terminal leave at time of Skillbridge Fellowship initiating
    • Following completion of service obligations, the ideal candidate will be based in a State where Dental Care Alliance is located
