Contemporary Dentistry is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team at our office located in Dearborn, MI 48126.

 

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8AM-5PM, Fri 8AM-2PM & 1 Saturday a month 8AM-1PM

At Contemporary Dentistry you'll work in a state of the art facility using the latest technologies.  You'll also be working along side of a great team of professionals.  We must be doing something right as many of our staff are long term employees and we feel that speaks volumes!  We're located near a many great restaurants and shopping centers (great for lunch breaks!). 

 

Previous experience is great but we also encourage recent hygiene grads to apply.  The hygienist we hire must be licensed in the state of Michigan. Fluent in Spanish or Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times 
  • Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
  • Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 
  • Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 
  • Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Desired Skills:

 

  • Active Hygiene license for the state you applied, required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
