The pay range is $18.00-$20.00

Responsibilities

 

This position is responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory/office and all tray set ups. All disinfected instruments placed in sterilization. New instrument set up placement on trays (mirror, explorer, syringe, gauze). Hand pieces sterilized, air way syringes wiped clean. Monitor operatory supplies. Pour and trims models. Assist with seating of  patients and treatment set up. Develop x-rays as needed. Insure cases ready for pick up. Other tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of dental office practices and equipment.
  • Up to one year experience in a dental office assisting other technicians or having completed classroom instruction in related areas of biology, chemistry, health, or preclinical instruction in dental assisting skills and related theory.
  • Experience working in a dental office breaking down rooms and sterilizing equipment
  • Demonstrated ability in a detailed work environment and working according to established formats and protocols.
  • Ability to interact effectively with other employees as well as with the general public.
