💰 Pay: $21 - $22 per hour
🗓 Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Patient Preparation: Greet, comfort, and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring they are at ease during their visit.
  • Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during procedures by sterilizing and delivering instruments, positioning instruments for access, and passing tools.
  • Diagnostic Support: Take and develop radiographs, as well as prepare study casts.
  • Material Handling: Select, mix, and apply materials needed for various procedures.
  • Emergency Support: Help manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and ensuring the readiness of emergency supplies.
  • Patient Education: Provide instructions on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative care.
  • Charting & Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Infection Control: Ensure all infection control procedures are followed, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Resource Management: Use equipment and supplies efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with the latest dental techniques and technologies through workshops and continuing education.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to the team’s success by supporting colleagues and helping with additional tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a formal Dental Assistant program.
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a team setting while maintaining a high level of patient care.
