Dental One Associates is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist in Columbia, MD, to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating team-based environment. We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health. We are a large practice featuring 31 operatories and 12 providers.  Our highly skilled dentists perform general dentistry, cosmetic procedures, orthodontic treatment, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and sedation dentistry, which equates to learning opportunities and skill-growth potential for our hygienists. 

Our office is located in downtown Columbia, 1 block from the mall and Merriweather Post Pavilion. We have lots of free parking and we're on a Howard County bus line as well. 

Position Overview:

We are passionate about preventive oral health care and value our hygiene team. Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Hygienist! We understand the importance of keeping up with the latest technology, for both our patients and our staff. We're currently utilizing 3d cone beam, Itero scanner, digital x-rays, Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and Overjet AI.

• Competitive Pay range: $54-$58 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental cleanings and oral maintenance
• Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
• Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• Certification in local anesthesia (if applicable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
