Dental One Associates at Belair is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist in Abingdon, MD, to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating team-based environment. We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

 

We are conveniently located off of I-95 with many nice shops and restaurants nearby (nice for lunch breaks).

 

Position Overview:

We are passionate about preventive oral health care and value our hygiene team. Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Hygienist! We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in supportive, friendly environment with opportunities for professional growth. We have 18 operatories and we take pride in utilizing some of the latest dental technology, such as; overjet AI, 5D Itero Scanner, CBCT, hygiene lasers and we are looking forward to adding Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) in the near future.

 

This is a full-time position working Monday -Friday. No Nights or weekend!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine dental cleanings and oral maintenance
  • Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
  • Certification in local anesthesia (if applicable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
