Dental Arts of South Jersey is a multi-doctor, specialty office looking to hire a part-time Dental Hygienist, for our office located in Voorhees, New Jersey.  The hygienist we hire will provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team based environment. We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

 

Position Overview:

This role focuses on delivering high-quality dental care through comprehensive oral health services and patient education. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier oral health care, enhancing patients' quality of life, and building lasting relationships within the community. Work Schedule:

 

Tuesday and Thursday: 9 am – 5 pm

Previous experience is always a plus but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The Hygienist we hire must have an active Hygiene license for the state of NJ. New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon. Local anesthesia license preferred, but not required to be considered for the position.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
  • Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
  • Certification in local anesthesia (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
