Dental One Associates of College Park is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our exceptional team in College Park, Georgia. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a patient-focused practice that values excellence, teamwork, and professional development.

 

Location: 1901 Phoenix Boulevard, Suite 100, College Park, GA 30349


Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and one Saturday per month, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

 

Flexible Option: If you prefer not to work Mondays, you can opt for Monday off and still work one Saturday a month.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to promote optimal oral health.
  • Administer X-rays and leverage advanced hygiene equipment to ensure superior care.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventative care strategies.
  • Work with a dedicated hygiene assistant to enhance patient care and streamline workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Active or pending Dental Hygiene license in Georgia.
  • X-ray certification (required).

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times 
  • Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
  • Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 
  • Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 
  • Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Active Hygiene license for the state you applied, required
