The dental implant center is looking for an outgoing Oral Surgical Assistant to join our team in Hauppauge/Medford. We provide implants and full mouth restorations, Laser (LANAP) surgeries to our patients, changing their lives. Exceptional patient experience for every patient is our top priority. We are looking for a friendly, bright, self-motivated, team player individual to join our team. Responsibilities may include:
taking dental radiographs (Dexis)
asking about the patient's medical history
serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental surgery treatments
providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
ability to use Itero/ Trios Scanner
knowledge in Denticon Software preferred, will train
