Main Street Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics of Winter Park is hiring a Traveling Orthodontic Assistant to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both staff and patients. 

Payrate $18.00-$22.00

 

Position Overview: 


As an Orthodontic Assistant you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting the doctor in orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, and patient education. You will help maintain a well-organized practice by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting in procedures and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.  

 

Status: Full-Time Traveling to Winter Park location Tuesday's & Thursday's

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities: 

    • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures. 
    • Assist the doctor with patient treatment, positioning instruments, and handling orthodontic appliances. 
    • Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and oral hygiene. 
    • Manage patient scheduling and assist with front-office tasks as needed. 
    • Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance matters. 
    • Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices. 
    • Maintain office inventory, including supplies and equipment. 
    • Address patient and employee concerns professionally. 
    • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment. 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • 1+ year of experience as an orthodontics Assistant (preferred) 
  • Strong organizational and problem solving-skills 
  • Minimum High School Diploma 
  • Must be able to travel to our sister office: Main Street Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics of Orange City Tuesday's & Thursday's (travel reimbursement included)
