Dental Hygienist

Premier Dental of Connecticut is looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team in West Hartford, CT. 

Position Overview:

We are passionate about preventive oral health care and value our hygiene team and the role they play in our success.  We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in a supportive, friendly environment, with opportunities for professional growth.  We strive to keep up with the latest technology and are currently utilizing digital x-rays, 3D cone beams and Biolase diode lasers, and we are excited to be adding Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), in the near future.

Office hours are: Monday (8-5), Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (8-7), Friday (8-2) & Saturday (8-1).

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental cleanings and oral maintenance
• Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
• Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
