Ridgewood Oral Surgery is looking for a Dental Billing Coordinator in Glen Rock, New Jersey to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating team-based environment. We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

 


Position Overview:

This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and desired to get started in the dental field. environment. The person will be a support person to all the staff members and patients in his/her office. They will answer phones, handle patient inquiries, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient’s treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager. Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities for this position are: reviewing unpaid insurance claims report; identifying outstanding insurance; updating insurance/collection reminder calendar; reviewing insurance explanation of benefits for payment accuracy; insurance plan set up in QSI; update fee schedules; billing – file all insurance – primary/secondary with insurance companies; confirm pre-authorizations for treatment; and be a back-up to the front desk.

Qualifications

 

  • 1 - 2 years' of experience working with dental or medical insurance billing
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance, preferred
  • Full knowledge of sending/posting dental insurance claims (general/specialty)
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Superior customer service skills
