Gentle Dental is currently hiring a Full-time Dental Hygienist for our office in West Chester. 

 

Position Overview:

As a Dental Hygienist at Gentle Dental, you'll provide exceptional care through routine cleanings, assessments, and education, all while supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals. We offer a friendly, growth-oriented workplace where patient comfort is always a priority.

 

Schedule:

4 day workweek with choice of Mon or Tue off.

Monday -Thursday 8:30-5:00

Friday - 9:00-1:00

Gentle Dental is a well-established, successful practice, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, in the heart of West Chester.  We truly value our hygienists and the important role they play in our success.  To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will go through a short training program, so when they begin to see patients, they will feel confident and comfortable in their new position within our team. 

 

Previous experience working as a hygienist is always a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well.  The hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of PA.   New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene
  • License: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
