Baystate Dental in Chicopee is growing and we're hiring a part-time or full-time Dental Hygienist to add to our amazing team. 

Part-time employment offers:

• Competitive Pay: $44-$53 per hour
• Hygiene coach for support and mentor-ship

• 60 minute appointments

Full-time (in addition to the above) offers:

• $5k Sign on Bonus

We also understand the importance technology plays in providing top notch dental care, and strive to keep up with the latest.  We are currently utilizing hygiene lasers; 3D printers; Primescan; Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), a game changer in the hygiene world; and Overjet AI.  You'll have the best technology to provide your patients with top quality care!

Previous experience is great but we also welcome new hygiene grads to apply.  The Hygienist we hire must have an active Hygiene license for the state of Massachusetts or must be applying for license soon.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
• Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
• Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records, medical history and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
