Towncare Dental - Homestead is hiring a full time experienced bilingual (English & Spanish) Dental assistant. Applicants must be friendly, highly-organized, possess excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to deliver exceptional customer service. We request that all applicants also possess the willingness to learn, be compassionate and comfortable chair side, and have the ability to perform the following tasks :

-Knowledgeable on procedures
-Familiar with products and materials used

-Taking impressions

- Making temporaries
-Administering Fluoride
-Disinfecting Rooms and Equipment

The hours for this position will be Mon - Fri 9:00-5:00.

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program

or

• Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
• X-Ray certification
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Candidates must be bilingual (English & Spanish)

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
