Main Street Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a professional, high energy person with excellent communication skills to join our amazing Orthodontic Team.  The assistant we hire is required to be x-ray certified in FL ; Must have prior ortho assisting experience to be considered.  Must be able to travel between our two offices: (Clermont & Windemere)  The hours are : Mon-Thurs 8:45-5:00 (Off Friday's)

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications:

• • X-ray & CDA certified in FL 
  • Experience working as a Dental Assistant (Ortho)
  • Must be able to travel to Main Street Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics (Windemere) on Tuesday's

   

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
