Dental Solutions is looking for a traveling  Orthodontic Assistant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and surrounding area to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both staff and patients.

 

 

Position Overview:
As an Orthodontic Assistant you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting the doctor in orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, and patient education. You will help maintain a well-organized practice by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting in procedures and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Compensation for this role is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures.
  • Assist the doctor with patient treatment, positioning instruments, and handling orthodontic appliances.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and oral hygiene.
  • Manage patient scheduling and assist with front-office tasks as needed.
  • Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance matters.
  • Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices.
  • Maintain office inventory, including supplies and equipment.
  • Address patient and employee concerns professionally.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 1 year of hands on Orthodontic experience
  • Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
  • X-Ray certification is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
