Imagix Dental – Temporary Dental Hygiene Assistant Needed ASAP (Atlanta, GA)

Imagix Dental is seeking a Temporary Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our clinical team ASAP through January. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive, team-based environment. Our practice prides itself on offering comprehensive, personalized dental care in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced preventive treatments.

Position Details:

  • Temporary role: Now through January

  • Schedule:

    • Tuesday: 7:15 AM – 3:30 PM

    • Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

    • Thursday: 7:15 AM – 3:30 PM

    • Friday: 7:15 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Overview:
As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our hygiene department and assisting our dental team with patient care and clinical procedures. We value preventive oral health and the important contributions of our hygiene team.   • Prior dental assisting experience required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
  • Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress
  • Update patient health history and chart treatment progress
  • Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Cordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
  • Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems
  • Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (Required)
  • Associate or certification in Dental Assisting ( required)
  • Radiology certification
  • CPR certification 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
