Gentle Dental of Thorndale is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly, patient-focused team in Thorndale, Pennsylvania.

Compensation for this role is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
  • Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

 

  • Must be a certified Dental Assistant
  • No experience needed, will consider a recent grad from a formal dental school program
  • X-Ray certification is required
  • Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
