Overview

Garden State Dental is looking to hire a Part-time Dental Hygienist, for our office located in East Brunswick, New Jersey.  We are a well-established, successful practice, where we truly value our hygienists and the important role they play in our success. 

 

Position Overview:

This role focuses on delivering high- quality dental care through comprehensive oral health services and patient education. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier oral health care, enhancing patients' quality of life, and building lasting relationships within the community. Schedule:

Wednesday & Thursday (9:00-6:00) & Friday (9:00-4:00) with some flexibility in the days.  Saturday hours available at another nearby office if desired.

Previous experience is always a plus but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The hygienist we hire must have an active New Jersey Hygiene License (or must be applying soon).

 

Our recently renovated East Brunswick office is located off Hwy RT 18, minutes from the New York border and just an hour drive from NYC. In addition to ample parking, our location is convenient to shopping areas and restaurants (great for lunch break).

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene
  • License: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
  • Certifications: Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
