Advanced Dentistry South Florida is looking for an experienced Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating team-based environment. Position Overview:
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced dental environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for the practice, the Patient Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting patients, providers, and staff while ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities include managing high-volume phone calls, greeting and checking in patients, responding to patient inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, verifying dental insurance benefits, collecting copays and payments, and assisting patients with understanding their treatment plans and financial options. The ability to multitask efficiently, balancing phones, patient flow, insurance verification, and administrative duties is essential.
Candidates must have strong reading and writing skills, be comfortable using computers, sending and responding to emails, and accurately managing digital records. Familiarity with dental practice management software (such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental) is a plus. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and proactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks, handle schedule changes, and support projects assigned by the Office Manager or leadership team.
