Imagix Dental of Hickory Flat is looking for a Dental Assistant in Woodstock, GA to join our clinical team and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role on our care team by supporting the office and assisting the dental staff with patient treatment. We are looking for someone who is dependable, team-oriented, and truly cares about providing an excellent patient experience. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

• Two or more years on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
• X-Ray certification
• Expanded Duties Dental Assistant - Required
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
