Konikoff Dental Associates is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Suffolk, VA. In this role, you will support our clinical team by delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

• Minimum of one year of hands-on dental assisting experience (with supporting documentation)
• X-Ray Certification required
• Nitrous Oxide Certification strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain current OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
