Made Ya Smile is seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to support our offices in Friendswood, Kingwood, The Woodlands, and Houston (77064). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated dental professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while supporting surgical procedures across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during surgical dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
• Take and process dental radiographs
• Support the clinical team in delivering excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of on-the-job dental assisting experience (supporting documentation required)
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required
• Current X-Ray Certification required
• Nitrous Oxide Certification strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to travel between practice locations

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain current CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control certifications/training as required by law.
