    We have an immediate opening for a Dental Claims Specialist to work at our Kendall  corporate office located in Miami, FL. The Claims Specialist is responsible for managing insurance collections for multiple dental office locations and helping to create efficiencies in a high-volume environment.  This individual must have experience working in a dental office with excellent customer service skills. We are looking for candidates that have experience with verifying different types of dental insurance plans (HMO's/PPO's) and has proven experience working on a high volume of insurance receivables. Understanding of dental terminology is a must. We prefer a candidate that is a team player and has a positive attitude with exceptional multi-tasking abilities to join our amazing team.

    The Dental Claims Specialist is a support staff member for the dental practice staff. They will review patient insurance and claims information for accuracy, submit claims on a timely basis and with all necessary documentation to ensure prompt payment, and follow-up on open claims that require additional workup. They will provide support and guidance to their offices in accordance with the training they have received ensuring patients receive the best possible service.

    • Batch and submit claims on a daily basis
    • Pull x-rays, charting, narratives, and any other supporting documentation for NEA submission
    • Review insurance records on patient accounts for accuracy
    • Call on open claims at 30+ days
    • Adjust patient ledgers as necessary in accordance with insurance and company policies
    • Work with dental practices to make sure insurance verification protocols are being followed
    • Report findings and provide updates on work to management and operations




    • 1+ years' experience working in a dental office is a must
    • Working knowledge of dental insurance plans (HMO/PPO) and previous claims experience
    • Strong computer and business solution software skills
    • Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management
    • Strong analytical skills for researching and identifying discrepancies
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
    • Customer service skills
