    We are currently looking for a Collections Clerk to work at our corporate office located in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. This is a full-time position.

    This position will primarily deal with taking incoming calls from patients inquiring about their balance, processing patient payments and posting to their accounts, assisting office managers with collection questions, managing/working collection reports ensuring each account is up to date and accurate, helping patients with account billing issues and processing patient disputes. There will be a small amount of cold calls to make on your down time, if any.


    Our ideal Collections Clerk will have experience working in a dental or medical office; familiarity with medical/dental insurance companies; must be proficient with computers to include working with Word, Excel and Outlook; able to multi-task; be patient, pleasant, outgoing and have excellent customer service skills. Our Collection Clerks are outstanding communicators. They pride themselves in providing exceptional customer service at all times, and always have a strong attention to detail.


    Desired Skills:

    • Experience working in the healthcare industry, preferred
    • Proficient working with computers to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Strong data entry skills
    • Able to multi-task and work under time constraints
    • Must have excellent customer service skills
    • Denticon/QSI experience a plus
