    We are hiring a Dental Hygiene Assistant for our affiliate practice; Advanced Dental Care located in Temple Terrace, FL. The Candidate for this position will be EFDA and X-Ray certified along with 1-2 years experience working in a dental office. We prefer a Dental Hygiene Assistant that has experience with coronal polishing, placing fluoride, X-Ray, and OHI-treament presentation. We offer a competitive salary, plus benefits!

    Responsibilities

    The Dental Hygiene Assistant provides not only advanced technical assistance, but also provides a reassuring and pleasing experience for the patient. Chair side assistance to the hygienist includes preparation of treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for hygiene procedures, technical assistance during examinations and treatments, and other services requested by the hygienist. This position is responsible for a wide range of tasks in the dental office, ranging from patient care to administrative duties to laboratory functions. Proficiency and a positive attitude are cornerstones of this position. 

    Qualifications

     

    • X-ray license for the state in which you work is required
    • EFDA Certified for the state in which you work is required 
    • 1-2 years experience working as a Dental or Hygiene Assistant
