  • Overview

    We are hiring a Dental Sterilization Lab Technician for our affiliated practice, Konikoff Dental Associates of Cedar Road, located in Chesapeake, Virginia 23322. This is a full-time position. The Sterilization Technician we hire is required to have a minimum of 1 - 2 years of health-care sterilization experience. We offer a competitive salary, plus benefits!


    Responsible  for the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory/office and all tray set ups. All disinfected instruments placed in sterilization. New instrument set up place on trays (mirror, explorer, syringe, gauze). Hand pieces sterilized, air way syringes wiped clean. Monitor operatory supplies. Pour and trims models. Assist with seating of  patients and treatment set up. Develop x-rays as needed. Insure cases ready for pick up.


    • Knowledge of dental office practices and equipment.
    • Up to one year experience in a dental office assisting other technicians or having completed classroom instruction in related areas of biology, chemistry, health, or preclinical instruction in dental assisting skills and related theory.
    • Experience working in a dental or medical office breaking down rooms and sterilizing equipment
    • Demonstrated ability to do detailed work according to established formats and protocols.
    • Ability to interact effectively with other employees as well as with the general public.
