    Since 1983, our multi-specialty practice has provided comprehensive family dental care to adults and children over the age of three.

    We are looking to hire a Dental Receptionist for our affiliated practice, Baystate Dental. This Receptionists should ideally have 1-2 years' experience working in customer service and/or reception within the dental or healthcare industry; business experience is a plus.     Responsibilities

    This position will be responsible for daily, weekly, and end of month responsibilities.

     

     

    Daily responsibilities must be done by certain times each day. Some of the daily responsibilities consist of:

    • MassHealth Eligibility
    • Daysheet
    • Checking yesterday's schedule
    • Confirming 2 days out schedule
    • Daily deposit
    • Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
    • Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to policies
    • Answering Telephones
    • Confirming Appointments
    • Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
    • Register Patients on sign in sheet
    • Post charges and payments to patient accounts
    • Checking voicemail on a daily basis
    • Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients

     

    Some of the weekly responsibilities consist of:

    • Scanning
    • Sending new patient packets
    • Light cleaning of the office
    • MassHealth broken appointment log

     

    This position is also responsible for some end of month reporting

     

    Qualifications

    Desired Skills:

    • 1+ years' experience working in a dental office strongly preferred; will consider medical, or other health-care office experience
    • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), preferred
    • Experience answering telephone
    • Exceptional customer service experience
    • Experience working with Excel
    • Recent grads welcome to apply
